CRONA
So I've been catching Soul Eater when I can(the few nights I stay up late) and I could never figure out if the character of Crona was a boy or girl until finally in one episode Medusa(the mother of Crona) calls Crona her Daughter. So with that particular episodes subtitles I am running with and aging Crona up into a woman. Just cause I wanted to do a quick sketch of something other than a BG!

Amazing work Keith and so different from what I've seen in the past. Just fantastic.

Thanks Adam! Yep trying to change things up a bit, I want to try out a couple of different ways to approach things...we'll see how it goes.
Any other good anime series you'd recommend?
I love the linework on this. what did you use for the purple lines?
George: It's one of the fun abilities of Alias Sketch!
Since it was all done digitally, manipulating color is a cinch!
I really need to learn me some Alias Sketch. I think I have that around here somewhere.
And I'm guessing Soul Eater is really good?
I defiantly enjoyed it, great animation. The story was fun very light anime with a darker storyline. I'd have to say the story was the weakest part, but satisfying enough to carry through the series. I give it a 9 out of 10.
Ummm...ummm..Things I would do to her
Crona is actually a boy, the subtitles must have been off.
Crona is a boy, in the Japanese version you can here him say "ore" instead of "watashi". Also in the official subtitles Medusa never specifies gender and only calls Crona by "that child". So judging by the masculine words that Crona uses we can assume that Crona is in fact male.
Crona is a male. Kid even says in one of the episodes "What is wrong with him?" or something to that extent, referring to Crona. And when he meets Maka for the first time, he says "I don't know how to deal with girls."
Err, sorry, Black Star said it, not Kid, but still. They referred to Crona as a male.
